Well travelled in obtaining his medical and surgical education, from Vancouver to Halifax and in between. Vascular surgery became the focus following exposure to extraordinary mentors in this specialty. As a consultant in vascular surgery, a comprehensive knowledge of several areas is important. Dr. McCarville has a specific interest in Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, in addition to the necessary knowledge in arterial aneurysms, complications and treatment of the diabetic extremity, atherosclerotic disease, and venous conditions.
